Create Admin User
To create an admin user, follow the steps outlined below to ensure proper setup and access rights are granted:
Navigate to Settings: Initially, locate and access the settings menu of your application. This is generally positioned in the lower left-hand side of the application interface within a navigation sidebar. The settings section is the central hub for configuring and managing admin users.
Click on the "Admin" tab: Within the array of options presented in the settings menu, you're looking for a specific segment labeled "Admin". This part of the settings is dedicated to administrative controls and user management. Click on this tab to proceed to the area where you can manage admin users.
Click on the "New Admin" button: In the admin management section, there should be a clearly marked button "New Admin". This is a call to action for you to initiate the process of adding a new administrative user to the system.
Fill in the admin form: Upon triggering the "New Admin" option, a form will appear requesting details necessary to set up a new admin. This form typically encompasses essential information such as the prospective admin's first name, last name, contact information including an email address, and a secure password. Other details are required, these include departments. It's crucial to fill out each field with accurate and relevant information to ensure that the new admin has the appropriate access level and can be effectively contacted as necessary.
Click on the "Create" button: After diligently completing the form, the final step is to formally create the admin user account. Look for a button at the bottom of the form, labeled "Create". Click this to submit the information. This action will trigger the system to process the data, create the new admin account, and apply the specified permissions to the user, effectively granting them administrative access to the application.


After successfully carrying out these steps, the new admin user will be set up with the specified access privileges and will be ready to start performing their administrative duties within the application. Remember, to send the exact email and password used during the registration process to the admin.
Edit Admin Profile
To modify an admin's profile, follow these steps to update their first name, last name, and department. Note that only these fields can be edited.
Locate the Admin: Navigate to the list of admin users. Next to the admin profile you wish to edit, click on the action button (typically represented by three dots icon). A dropdown menu will appear.
Select "Edit": From the dropdown menu, choose the "Edit info" option. This will open the admin's profile in edit mode.
Update Information: You will see a form with the admin's current information. Only the fields for the admin's first name, last name, and department are editable. Make the necessary changes as required.
Save Changes: After updating the information, locate and click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the form. This action saves the modifications to the admin's profile.


By following these steps, you successfully update an admin's profile with the new information.
Reset Admin Password
To reset an admin user's password, follow these steps:
Select the Action Button: Find the admin user whose password needs resetting. Click on the action button (often displayed as three dots) next to their name.
Initiate Password Reset: From the appearing dropdown menu, click on "Reset password".
Complete the Form: A form will appear. Enter the new password and confirm it as required. Once filled, click on "Reset" to apply the changes.

By following these steps, the admin user's password will be successfully reset.
Remember: To send the new password to the admin user for login.
Deactivate Admin User
To ensure an admin user is unable to access the platform and perform any operational tasks, you need to deactivate their account. Here's how:
Select the Action Button: Locate the admin user you wish to deactivate. Next to their name, click on the action button, often symbolized by three dots.
Choose to Deactivate: From the dropdown menu that appears, click on "Deactivate".
Confirm Deactivation: A confirmation modal will pop up, asking if youβre sure about the deactivation. Click "Yes" to proceed or "Cancel" to abort the action.

By completing these steps, the selected admin user will be deactivated and prevented from logging in or carrying out any operations on the platform.
The same approach is required in order to activate an admin user.
